ARS Metal Supply was founded in 1972 by Jim Wakeland and his family. They joined forces with Isaiah Industries, Inc. of Piqua, Ohio, a leading manufacturer of high-quality residential metal roofing, roofing underlayments, and specialty building materials. This alliance proved to be a cornerstone of their success, allowing them to offer a diverse range of top-tier products to their customers.

In 2017, Isaiah Industries recognized the immeasurable value of the ARS legacy and acquired the assets of ARS Building Supply.
