Our Legacy

Founded by three World War II veterans, the Long brothers, our company began in Camden, Arkansas, specializing in general sheet metal work. Recognizing the growing demand for roofing services, they expanded their expertise and renamed the business Long's Roofing and Metal Fabrication Works. In 1953, David Long Sr. established a second location in El Dorado, which quickly became the company's headquarters. The business continued to flourish, catering to the unique needs of local chemical plants and manufacturing companies, a segment that remains a cornerstone of our clientele today. After over five decades of dedicated service, the Long brothers retired in 2007, passing the torch to Kenneth J Long, their grandson, ensuring the continuation of their legacy.
