The foundation of Delmarva Roofing's success is built upon the longstanding friendship and professional partnership of its co-owners, Sheldon Swartzentruber and Verle Schlabach. Growing up as neighbors on adjacent farms, Sheldon's family with a dairy and Verle's with hogs, they both witnessed their fathers utilizing Conklin products, providing an early exposure to the high-quality building materials that later became the cornerstone of their business. They honed their skills through shared school projects and, independently, developed a passion for roofing, drawn to the intricate craftsmanship and lasting impact of a well-installed roof. This shared journey fostered a strong bond of trust and mutual respect, setting the stage for a successful business partnership.
