Our founder, Bill Summerfield, is a past board member of the Tri-County Roofers' Association and a second-generation roofer who has been working in the industry since 1976. Bill took over the business in 1994 after his father-in-law, Russ Clagg, retired. Today, C&S Roofing continues to uphold the legacy of quality and service that Clagg Roofing was known for from 1958 to 1979.

Our Story

C&S Roofing was started in January 1983 as a partnership between Russ Clagg and his son-in-law Bill Summerfield. The two grew the family-owned business, known for its honesty, integrity, and hard work. Russ retired in 1994, and Bill became the sole owner, continuing to uphold the values that the company was built upon.
