At Authentic Roofing, we're a family-owned and operated roofing company dedicated to providing top-notch roofing services to residential and commercial clients in Reno, NV. Our story began in the 1930s when John Coyne, a man with a heart to help people, started 5 Star Roofing Company. The "5 stars" symbolized his five sons, who were actively serving in the military during World War II. Although not all of his sons returned, those who did took over the family business. In 1973, Bob Coyne, one of John's sons, continued the legacy, and later, his son Pat Coyne Sr. took over. After retiring and selling the company, Pat Coyne Sr. came out of retirement with his eldest son, Patrick Coyne Jr. II, to form Authentic Roofing in 2018.
