In 1982, Danny Hartin, the son and grandson of roofers Robert Lee Smith and Johnny Hartin, took over the family roofing business. Hartin's vision was to diversify the company into different types of roof systems, offering a range of options to meet the unique needs of each client. This vision was realized in the 1990s when Hartin introduced new and innovative roof systems to the market, including liquid applied roof systems and polyurethane foam roof systems.
