The team at First Rate Roofing Services did an outstanding job! We needed our roof replaced due to a leak, and they tackled the project with incredible efficiency. They removed over three layers of roofingincluding cedar shakein under an hour! The entire replacement, including the house and garage, was done in just two days.
I was impressed with their smooth workflow, professionalism, and friendliness. They were easy to work with and made sure everything was cleaned up by the end of each day. We were especially grateful that they took care of some deteriorating fascia as well.

I was in the roofing business in Illinois so I know the business. I am too old to get on my roof any more so I called First Rate. The owner Ethan came out right away, gave me what I thought was a fair estimate for a repair. Within a week his repair guys did the job. They were extremely nice, courteous, and respectful. Did a great job. I got a follow up call from Ethan to make sure I was happy with the work before he billed me. Extremely professional company, I highly recommend them for any work needed.

This company just finished replacing our roof, and it was an incredibly positive experience. The communications from start to finish was prompted and easy to understand. Ethan and Brandon were so helpful with all the questions we had.

My son referred us to First Rate; we needed a leak repaired that had already been "repaired" thru ANGI. Ethan came out to assess the job and provided an estimate. He scheduled the job for 11 days out. I received a call on January 3rd from his crew. They were finishing up another job in the area, and wanted to know if they might come by and do my job...a week ahead of time! They were quick and very professional. They did the repair exactly as Ethan had explained. I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

I am very grateful to Ethan and Brandon and their amazing crew for replacing the roof on my new/old house. They clearly explained the problem areas and how the new materials and workmanship prevent future damage and costly repairs. My roof was completed in less than 2 days at a very reasonable cost. These young men were a delight to work with. They are professional AND very friendlyand they offer extensive professional handyman services for other inevitable repairs, replacements, needed upkeep and aesthetic enhancements. Brandon was just here doing a temporary fix on the wind-blown, ancient and water soaked slat backyard fence (which he will be totally replacing when the weather permits)
I feel lucky to have found Ethan and Brandon and I intend to have them involved in all future projects on this 1937 house that deserves their expert and honest

First i have had 2 bid froom different roofing company . And i feel like they are taking advantage of me CALLING EVERYDAY PRESURING ME THAT MAKES UNCOMFORTABLE. Then i took a chance with FIRST RATE ROOFING SERVICES. ETHAN THE OWNER IS VERY HONEST I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE TALKING TO HIM. HE DID NOT PRESURE ME AT ALL he even said i could get anather bid if i want to and the price he gave is reasonabl and affordable. I am satisfied with thier job. I will recomend them to my friend. I called seven places. Seven! First Rate Roofing came out same day and did a quote, took pics and were incredibly professional. Out of seven companies this one had the best price, customer service, communication and overall good good vibe. So glad they will be the ones to do our roof. They even patched us up until they can come out for the work so we no longer are leaking water in multiple places. I am seriously impressed so far with this company. Thanks team!

They arrived at my house to fixes some leaks in my garage roof.
They removed all the affected areas replacing all the ice and water shield then replaced with the exact shingles. The did an impeccable job. They cleaned and inspected the entire roof fixing any other issues they came across. We had a big mess with moss and debris on one side of the house and they not only cleaned the roof they also treated the roof for the moss. Everywhere they were was completely and thoroughly cleaned up. Cannot thank them enough!

I had a leaky skylight and they came out super quick and took a look at it and got a tarp over it. When we got scheduled to have it replaced, they came out when they said they would and got right to work. They had it done within a couple hours and it looks great. They cleaned all the debris and hauled the old light off. I would definitely use them again.

My husband called First Rate Roofing and explained what was happening. Over the phone, Ethan suspected it to be a very quick and easy fix based off of my husbands description. Ethan got a team to our house the same day and confirmed that the fix was just a lack of flashing and made the quick repair! I inquired as to someone coming out to inspect my roof after my insurance wrote me a letter giving me a year to replace my roof or they would cancel me. Ethan came out the very same day and took a look. He was super helpful and answered all of my questions. I felt as though he was honest and not just trying to sell me a service. While he was up on the roof inspecting he even went out of his way to seal some areas up. If this is how he treats potential customers, I am sure that his customers are in great hands. First Rate Roofing was quick and efficient. I called to see if I could get an roof inspection done and Ethan worked me into the schedule same day. 30 minutes later, he was at my house looking at my roof! Expeditious service! He gave me a lot of great info to keep the roof looking good and made me feel confident about the roofing situation. Not only did this company provide excellent service, they truly listened to my needs as a home owner and gave a quality product. Im wanted gutters and spouts off my garage that lead straight to my new rain barrels and they look fantastic and are absolutely perfect! Highly refined and will use again when we do our roof/gutters.
