I hired Mike Stevenson who works for All Area Roofing in Ft. Pierce FL. I gave Mike Stevenson a cashier's check of $5000. in July of 2025 for a shingle roof on my home in Lake Mary. Mike Stevenson boss Kendall the manager of All Area Roofing acknowledged that Mr. Stevenson misused the $5,000 deposit and told me that Mr. Stevenson has a gambling problem. Kendall stated that he wanted to help resolve the matter and agreed to reimburse me the $5,000 through installment payments to be completed by December 30, 2025. However, he later withdrew that offer after I raised concerns about another roofing job Mr. Stevenson performed.
Additional Work:
Mr. Stevenson also charged me $4,000 for roof repairs at my home in Lake Mary, FL 32746, leaving an alleged $1,500 balance due. After inspection by three independent roofers, all confirmed that the work was substandard, performed with incorrect materials (intended for shingle, not tile), and that damaged plywood was not replaced. Given the poor workmanship and code issues, I withheld the $1,500 balance.
In the end, Mike Stevenson with all Area Roofing stole $5000 from me for my new roof and gambled the funds. If you are considering this firm, do your research seriously prior to hiring this group. My attorney also ran background checks the individuals and found they are unscrupulous individuals.
